I am a 37 years old, married to the love of my life, whom I’ll call Prince….since he is mine! We struggled with infertility for 2 years, male factor. We decided to pursue domestic adoption after failed ART (artificial reproductive treatments) attempts.
We began this journey in August 2007 with selecting an agency and beginning the homestudy process. We became “official” and in the books April 14, 2008.
We are not waiting for The Call telling us we’ve been matched and it’s time to bring our child home.
Other random facts about me: I’m a teacher in a middle school
I’m a Christian and my faith has a large role in my life
I live in the Northeast, the New York area
I have a weakness for toddler type junk food: mac and cheese, chicken fingers,
peanut butter and jelly.
I love the Caribbean and love to snorkel
I have my original blog, started in 2004, even before I got married here

HI! I found your blog through another one that I am following. I am an adoptive mom of 2 wonderful children! My hubby and I also had male factor infertility and tried for 7 yrs. various routes to pregnancy. God brought us the children that were always meant to be ours in this special way! I remember well where you are at in your wait and am so exicited for the joy that is to come to you!!!!
Blessings! Feel free to visit if you like. If you click the ‘adoption’ link on my blog, you can pull up my son’s story, in 3 parts. I plan to write and post my daughter’s story soon.
